I cannot express enough how thoroughly impressed my husband and I were with our stay at this charming lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail and high-quality features of the 19th-century building conversion. the handcut stone walls added a unique and cozy touch to the interior, and despite the slightly worn furniture, the overall comfort and layout of the lodge exceeded our expectations. the mezzanine bedroom was a delightful surprise, offering a sense of privacy and tranquility. the spacious sitting area and large conservatory provided a lovely space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. the flat-screen TV and parquet floors added a touch of luxury to the accommodation, further enhancing our experience. the thoughtful welcome package in the fridge, including essentials like bread, juice, and wine, truly made us feel at home. the helpful and communicative managers also added to our positive experience, making us feel well taken care of during our time at the lodge. Overall, our stay surpassed all expectations, and we can't wait to return for another unforgettable getaway in the future.
